On Saturday 6 August 2022, patrols were called to a disturbance in Market Street at around 8.30pm in which a man in his 30s was found on the ground with a head wound.

He was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.

Enquiries were carried out at the scene to establish the circumstances of the incident.

Several people have been spoken to but there were reportedly hundreds of people in the area that evening and officers believe others may have seen something that could be helpful to their investigation.
