A quantity of class A and B drugs have been seized after police found a suspected amphetamine factory in Walmer, Deal.

During the afternoon of Wednesday 17 August 2022, officers from Dover Community Policing Team were on patrol in the Church Street area when they received a report regarding suspicious activity at a property nearby.

Officers found a large amount of suspected amphetamine as well as a quantity of cannabis. They also seized equipment and substances believed to be used in the production of class A drugs.

A 51-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of producing a controlled drug and has since been released under investigation while enquiries into the property continue.
