Two individuals are facing legal action following a police raid on a property in Thanet earlier this week. On the morning of Wednesday, April 22, 2026, officers executed a warrant that resulted in the discovery of cannabis, cocaine, a significant amount of cash, and various weapons.

The investigation into the recovered items led to the arrest and subsequent charging of a 41-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, both residents of Minster. The specific charges against them include the production of cannabis, possession of cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply, and possession of criminal property.

Additionally, the pair faces charges for the possession of a taser, an unlicensed firearm, and unlicensed shotgun ammunition. The defendants appeared in court via virtual link on Thursday, April 23, and were remanded in custody. The legal proceedings are scheduled to continue at Canterbury Crown Court on Tuesday, May 26.
