Want to keep your ride safe from those pesky thieves? Friendly local cops and the Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) were hanging out at the Dockside Outlet Shopping Centre in Chatham last Saturday, dishing out some serious crime prevention tips.

Kent Police handed out alarms, locks, anchors, and security marking gear (thanks to the Police and Crime Commissioner, Matthew Scott) to help you protect your bike.

PC Robert Goble dropped some knowledge:

‘Our advice for any owner is to ensure that, wherever possible, your bike has layers of security which will deter opportunist thieves or organised criminals from targeting your property. If kept in a garage, do not assume that no additional security is needed.

The event was a hit! Lots of bikers showed up and are now beefing up their security. Big thanks to the Dockside Outlet folks for hosting and the MAG team for making it a blast!

Next up: Strood Retail Park on Saturday, November 9th, from 10am to 2pm. See you there!
