Two police dogs have helped officers recover a collection of tools which were reportedly stolen, along with a tractor, from the maintenance yard of a Whitstable caravan park.
Officers, with the assistance of police dogs YooFoo and Ciara, found the equipment shortly after Kent Police was alerted to a burglary in progress at a premises on St John’s Road at around 10.20pm on Wednesday 31 January.

Police Dog Ciara and her handler began to track a suspicious-looking man after discovering the tools on Swalecliffe Court Drive while Police Dog Yoofoo guarded the tools as officers made enquiries about the allegedly stolen items.
Soon afterwards, officers detained a 22-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of theft and the theft of a motor vehicle. He has since been bailed, pending further enquiries.
A tractor, also thought to have been stolen from the yard, was found on a nearby beach the following day.
