Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted outside a pub in Sittingbourne.

At around 10:20 pm on Saturday 27 June 2026, Kent Police responded to an incident on West Street, where a man in his 20s had been punched in the face. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and has since been discharged. A 23-year-old man was arrested shortly after the incident but has been released without charge.

Officers are now looking to identify a suspect described as a tall, white man, approximately 25 years old with blonde hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white football shirt, blue jeans, and a white baseball cap.
