Kent Police are calling for witnesses and dashcam footage following the theft of copper cabling from a telecommunications site in Ashford.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, 21 April 2026, when cables were reportedly tampered with near a manhole located on a footpath between Warren Lane and Quantock Drive, close to Maidstone Road.
Officers have conducted initial enquiries and are now urging anyone who was in the vicinity between 3:00 PM and 3:45 PM to come forward. Investigators are particularly interested in viewing any dashcam footage recorded in the area during that timeframe.
