On Friday 16 February 2024, Kent Police was told a man had entered the rear porch of a residential property in Kingsnorth Road, Ashford, before leaving empty-handed.
Around an hour later, property was reported stolen during a break-in at an address in Cade Road. An investigation was launched by East Kent CID and a man was arrested in Lower Denmark Road the following day.
A 24-year-old man from Oldbury, West Midlands was later charged with two burglaries. He appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday 19 February and was bailed to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 18 March.
