Detectives have released CCTV images as part of an investigation into a suspected attempted sexual assault in Canterbury.

It was reported that between 1am and 1.30am on Saturday 24 June 2023 a man grabbed a woman on the shoulder as she walked from Canterbury East Station Bridge towards Castle Row. The victim cried out for help and a member of the public intervened, who chased the suspect away.

Officers have issued CCTV images of a man they want to identify as he may have information which could assist them.

They are keen to find the member of the public who intervened during the incident and came to the victim’s aid.
