Kent Police was called to Back Street, Langley, at around 11.10pm on Sunday 4 June 2023, where a man had suffered injuries consistent with stab wounds.
Officers supported by armed patrols attended the scene and a woman was arrested.
The victim, who is in his 30s, was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Charged and remanded
On Monday 5 June, a woman from Maidstone was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The 33-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on the following day where she was remanded in custody, until a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 4 July.
Both parties are known to one another, and officers are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
