On 16 February 2023, officers investigating the supply of class A drugs, executed a search warrant at a town centre address.
Inside the property two men were arrested. The constables also seized an extendable baton, mobile phones and a quantity of crack cocaine and heroin.
The pair were later charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, being concerned in the supply of heroin, possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply and possessing heroin with intent to supply. A 29-year-old man from Gravesend was also charged with possessing a prohibited weapon in a private place.
A man aged 28 from Dartford and the Gravesend suspect both appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court. They were remanded to a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on 20 March.
