Get ready for creative fun with Animate Arts to help decorate trees for the Ashford Tree Trail.

Everyone is welcome to attend the free drop-in craft workshops on:

  • Saturday 21 May, 10am-3pm at County Square shopping centre, Ashford, TN23 1YB
  • Saturday 28 May, 10am-3pm at Victoria Park, Ashford, TN23 4QD

The decorations will be on display on trees as part of the physical Ashford Tree Trail throughout the town centre from 2 June – 25 June.

If you can’t make the free craft workshops don’t worry – you can still get involved by downloading the activity pack to decorate your own tree at home!

The activity pack is full of ideas and inspiration to help get you started, with two central themes – the Queen’s Jubilee and Green Planet. We are championing for decorations and artworks that decorate your tree to be made from recycled and repurposed materials from your home – think tin-can baubles to bunting from unwanted fabrics.

Whether you wish to follow the activities or create your own, once you have decorated your tree, you can submit a photo of your tree to be a part of the virtual forest map – for everyone to view!

The Activity pack and submission forms are available on www.ashford.gov.uk/ashford-tree-trail
