A suspect has been remanded in custody after police seized a haul of dangerous weapons, including air guns, ammunition, and CS spray, during a raid on a home in Dartford.
Officers executed a search at a residential property in Dunlop Close on Thursday, 10 September 2026, after receiving reports that firearms were being kept at the address.
A thorough search of the premises led to the discovery and seizure of four suspected air weapons, a canister of incapacitant spray, a quantity of live ammunition, and a knife.
The occupant of the property, a 45-year-old local resident, was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged with possession of a firearm, possession of CS gas, and possession of ammunition without certification.
He appeared at Woolwich Crown Court on Tuesday, 15 September, where he was remanded in custody. He is scheduled to return to the same court for his next hearing on Friday, 9 October.
