Officers from Kent Police are appealing for witnesses after arresting a man in connection with an incident of indecent behaviour in Ashford.
At approximately 4.10pm on Monday 24 August 2026, a man was reported carrying out an indecent act while sitting inside a parked white Transit van. The vehicle was parked at the junction of Newtown Road and the entrance to the Ashford International station car park.
Following initial enquiries, detectives arrested a 27-year-old man from Ashford. He has since been released on bail pending further investigations.
Officers are keen to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage. Anyone with information is asked to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/140371/26.
