Detectives are calling for public assistance following a significant disturbance in Ramsgate that left two people with serious injuries.

At approximately 11:00 PM on Sunday, 5 April 2026, a confrontation involving a group of individuals broke out on Chatham Street. During the incident, a man and a woman sustained multiple injuries to their heads and faces.

Police believe that those involved were known to one another. Everyone involved had fled the scene by the time the incident was reported to emergency services later that night.

While officers have already reviewed local CCTV and taken several statements, they are eager to speak with anyone else who may have seen the disturbance or the moments leading up to it.
