Five men have been charged with a combined total of 31 offences following a series of violent incidents in central Maidstone. The investigation by Kent Police followed reports of a significant disturbance on Gabriel’s Hill which occurred at approximately 1:05 am on Sunday, September 28, 2025

The legal process involved multiple stages of arrests and formal charging. Three individuals were apprehended at the scene on suspicion of assault and criminal damage, while a further two suspects were taken into custody on September 29, 2025, and January 2, 2026, respectively. On Thursday, March 26, 2026, all five suspects were formally charged with offences including violent disorder, assault causing actual bodily harm, and criminal damage.
