Police are appealing for information following two linked burglaries in Whitstable. The first incident occurred on Millstrood Road at approximately 2am on Monday, February 10, 2025. The second burglary took place on nearby Walmer Road around 4am the following day.
In both cases, the offenders gained entry by smashing glass at the rear of the properties. One of the intruders was reportedly armed with an axe. While no one was injured, a quantity of cash was stolen from the Walmer Road address.
Three men are believed to have been involved in the Walmer Road burglary. They are described as slim, white, and with local accents. One is approximately 5ft 7in tall, another 5ft 1in. All were wearing masks, black coats, grey bottoms, and gloves.
Two men were present at the Millstrood Road burglary. One wore a hood and a mask. They left the property empty-handed.
