A drug dealer who attempted to deceive police by providing a false name and claiming to be Greek has been sentenced to prison.
In February 2024, local officers stopped a Ford Fiesta in Calverley Street, Tunbridge Wells, suspecting it was involved in drug trafficking. The driver, Kenado Boja, was found to be in possession of a significant amount of cocaine, including deals hidden in a vape and a safe at his temporary address in Tunbridge Wells.

Boja, 21, pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to supply and possession of an identity document with intent at Maidstone Crown Court. He was sentenced to three years and six months in prison and ordered to forfeit the seized drugs, cash, and vehicle.
Investigating officer, PC Taiya Patching, said:
‘Dealers who travel to west Kent to deal class A drugs are easily spotted by the local officers, after which it is only a matter of time before they are arrested.
‘This particular offender sought to give a false name but the constables quickly saw through his deception. They also tracked down a temporary address he was using in Tunbridge Wells and a considerable number of cocaine deals were located along with the cash he had made from his criminal enterprise. He has now lost the profit he made as well as his car and, quite rightly, is starting a prison sentence.’
