Witnesses are being sought after an unexpected parcel containing cannabis was delivered to a residential address in Gillingham.
At approximately 1:20pm on Friday 4 September 2026, the package was delivered to a property in Livingstone Road. Shortly afterwards, a man knocked at the door claiming to work for the delivery company, stating there had been a mistake and that they needed to reclaim the parcel.
However the occupant refused to hand it over because they were expecting a delivery of their own. The resident received two further visits from this individual and another man who claimed the parcel belonged to them, but both times they were turned away.
Due to the unusual nature of these events, Kent Police were contacted, and attending patrols discovered that the parcel contained multiple bags of cannabis.
An investigation into the circumstances is currently ongoing, and officers are keen to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time and noticed any suspicious activity.
The first man is described as black, in his 20s, and of a stocky build, wearing a black and purple cargo-style jacket alongside black cargo trousers. The second man is described as white, in his early 20s, of a skinny build, clean-shaven, and shorter in height, wearing jogging trousers.
