A driver in his 30s has tragically lost his life following a devastating night-time collision on a busy dual carriageway near Deal.
Emergency services rushed to the A256 at Tilmanstone after a red Vauxhall Insignia travelling northbound towards Sandwich crashed near the roundabout at the junction of Barville Road and Boys Hill Road. The fatal impact occurred at 9:51 pm on Monday, 14 September 2026.
Despite the rapid response of emergency personnel, the driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed of the tragedy.
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit have launched an urgent inquiry to establish the full circumstances surrounding the crash.
