Detectives in Maidstone have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in the town.
After reports of an assault at a property in Knightrider Street Kent Police was called at 10.21pm yesterday evening, Monday 7 September 2026.
Officers attended the incident together with other emergency services and a man in his 40s was found inside the property with injuries consistent with a stab wound. However, whilst being treated by paramedics at the scene, he died. His next of kin has been informed.
A man aged 26 and a 22 year old woman were both arrested at the scene in connection with the incident and remain in custody while enquiries continue.
