Two suspects have been arrested and a high-value Planet X Tempest road bike recovered following a theft in Ashford.
Kent Police were alerted after the bicycle was cut from a lock on the back of a parked car in Rutherford Road, Eureka Park, overnight on Friday 31 July. Neighbourhood officers subsequently tracked down the stolen bike after it was listed for sale online.
Following further enquiries, police visited a local address on Tuesday 25 August, where they seized the bicycle and arrested a 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy. Both remain on conditional bail while investigations continue, and the bike is currently being returned to its rightful owner.
