As part of a national plan to restore pride in local communities, the government has announced a feasibility assessment to clear an estimated 1,500 tonnes of illegally dumped waste at Power Station Road on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent.

The site is one of three serious illegal dumps prioritized across the country due to environmental damage and its impact on the local community.

The Environment Agency is actively investigating the location and has taken measures to prevent further dumping while efforts continue to identify those responsible.
