Officers launched an immediate investigation and detained three suspects within hours of a teenager suffering serious stab wounds during an early-hours street brawl in Rochester.
Police rushed to the scene on the High Street near the junction with Star Hill at around 3am on Saturday 15 August 2026, where the injured youth was located before being transported to a nearby hospital, where the casualty who is in a stable condition, is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
Reports indicate that the victim sustained the injuries following a violent confrontation with two individuals who subsequently fled the location in a grey BMW 118i. Attending patrols secured the immediate area and successfully retrieved a knife from the vicinity.
Swift operational work led officers to a residential address in Maidstone, where a 38-year-old suspect was taken into custody less than an hour after the emergency call. Continued enquiries led officers to a second property in Maidstone at approximately 6am, resulting in the detention of two further suspects aged 34 and 40. All three individuals have since been granted conditional bail while investigative enquiries continue.
