A 28-year-old man has been arrested after a victim was left with stab wounds following a serious assault near Walderslade.
Kent Police were called to Spenlow Drive in Boxley at approximately 9.45pm on Monday 20 July. It is alleged that the victim, a man in his 30s, was attacked by two armed men. Paramedics rushed the injured man to a local hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Following initial enquiries at the scene, armed officers arrested a 28-year-old suspect on London Road in West Malling at 1.10am the following morning. He was subsequently taken into police custody.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing. Detectives are urging witnesses, or anyone with relevant CCTV footage, to contact Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/118216/26.
