Firefighters were called to tackle a grass fire in Canterbury over the weekend.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service sent two fire engines to the scene in Pin Hill just after 11:00 BST on Saturday morning. Crews arrived quickly to find an area of grass alight near the busy inner ring road.
Firefighters deployed a combination of high-pressure hose reel jets and traditional beaters to smother the flames and prevent the fire from spreading further. The incident was brought completely under control and dealt with within half an hour.
No injuries were reported during the incident, and the exact cause of the fire remains unknown.
