Information is sought by officers investigating a collision in Ashford at around 2.30pm on Wednesday 15 July 2026 when patrolling officers requested the driver of a vehicle to stop on the A2070 near Ashford, but they failed to do so.
A police pursuit was authorised, and officers followed the blue Ford Tourneo up to Park Farm Roundabout where officers ended the pursuit in the interests of public safety. Prior to this collision, the Ford Tourneo had been involved in a pursuit involving Kent Police and, as is standard procedure, a mandatory referral has been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
