Kent Police are appealing for witnesses after two dogs reportedly spun out of control in Broadstairs, leaving a woman injured and her cat dead.
The incident took place at around 10:15 pm on Wednesday, 24 June 2026, on Norman Road. The victim suffered multiple cuts to her hands during the alleged assault, while her cat tragically sustained fatal injuries.
The two dogs involved are described as stocky build and were being walked on long leads by a woman at the time. One of the animals has been identified as a white pitbull-type breed.
Following a series of initial enquiries to trace the dogs and identify their owner, officers are now turning to the public for assistance.
