Detectives investigating the death of a man in Margate have made two arrests.
Kent Police visited a property in the High Street shortly after 11.30am on Thursday 11 June 2026 while responding to a report of concern for a person.
Officers arrived and a man in his 30s was confirmed deceased. His next of kin has been informed. Initial enquiries were completed and later that day, a 40 year old man from the local area was arrested on suspicion of murder. It is understood that both parties were known to each other. A second man, aged 30, was also arrested in connection with the incident. Both suspects remain in custody.
