A large quantity of cash, a machete and nitrous oxide cannisters have been seized after a car was stopped by a Gravesend patrol.
In the early hours of Saturday 6 June 2026 officers driving along Rochester Road at around 1.30am on saw a suspicious white Jaguar turn into Old Road East which they pulled over and searched the occupants and vehicle. They subsequently found a knife with a 30cm blade, multiple N₂O cannisters and over £2,000 in cash.
Three men, two 20 year olds from Gravesend and a 21 year old from Doncaster, were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and class C drugs. They have been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
