Two people have been taken into custody following a serious disturbance outside a bar in Maidstone in the early hours of this morning. Kent Police were called to the scene in Upper Stone Street at 2.47am on Saturday 6 June 2026.

Patrols attended the premises, where four people reported being assaulted after a man and a woman were refused entry. Among the victims, a man in his 30s suffered a serious ankle injury, while a second man, also in his 30s, sustained a head injury.

Following a search of the local area, officers arrested a 34-year-old man in Campbell Road, and a 29-year-old woman was detained a short time later. Both suspects remain in police custody.

Investigators are now urging any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to come forward. Motorists with dashcam footage and local residents with private CCTV are also being asked to check their devices for any relevant data.
