Illicit substances and weapons have been seized and two individuals arrested following targeted searches at properties in Gravesend and London.
On Thursday 28 May 2026, Kent Police officers attended properties in Lower Range Road, Gravesend, Parish Lane, London, and Capstone Road, Bromley, as part of an investigation into the importation of prohibited weapons. Following searches, officers discovered multiple large bags of cannabis, approximately £10,000 in cash, and class A drugs believed to be cocaine.
Officers also uncovered an array of weapons including a knuckleduster, a taser, a baton, and a crossbow.
Two individuals from Capstone Road, Bromley, were arrested and subsequently charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, possession with intent to supply class B drugs, and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place. One of the individuals faced an additional charge of purchasing ammunition for sale.
Both suspects appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Friday 29 May, where they were remanded in custody ahead of their next scheduled appearance at Woolwich Crown Court on 26 June.
