A motorcyclist was rushed to a London hospital with severe injuries following a dramatic early-morning collision involving a luxury car and a Harley Davidson in Whitstable last week.
The horror crash occurred shortly after 6am on Tuesday, 26 May, near the junction of Golden Hill and the A2990 Thanet Way. Emergency services, including Kent Police officers and paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service, raced to the scene to treat the casualty. The rider remains in hospital today and is undergoing treatment for multiple serious injuries.
The driver of the grey BMW 4 Series involved in the crash stopped at the scene immediately, and investigators have launched an urgent probe into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Detectives are now appealing for witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to come forward. Officers are particularly keen to track down anyone who was driving in the area at the time and may have captured vital dashcam footage that could assist their ongoing enquiries.
