Four fire engines rushed to the scene of a house fire in Chatham yesterday afternoon, where paramedics took over the care of four individuals.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to a blaze on Meadow Bank Road at approximately 12:07 pm yesterday, 25 May. Crews quickly arrived at the scene, with four fire engines deployed to tackle the emergency.
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and used a high-pressure hose reel jet to combat and successfully extinguish the flames. By 12:55 pm, the incident was brought under control.
South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) paramedics attended to four people at the scene. Investigations into the incident are ongoing, as the cause of the fire has not yet been established.
