Detectives investigating an aggravated burglary in Sevenoaks are appealing for witnesses, dashcam footage, and private CCTV.
Kent Police were called just after 1:00 pm on Wednesday 20 May 2026 following reports of a break-in at a residential property in Old London Road, near Badger’s Mount. It is alleged that a man forced entry into the home, pushed the elderly occupant to the floor, and stole several items of jewellery, including an Armani watch.
The suspect subsequently fled the scene in a dark-coloured estate car, travelling along Old London Road in the direction of Knockholt. Attendance was made by police patrols to complete house-to-house enquiries, review local CCTV footage, and secure forensic evidence.
Detective Constable Leo Graham said:
‘We are keen to locate the suspect after a woman in her 90s was cruelly targeted and assaulted during the incident. The man is described as white and was wearing a scarf over his face. Anyone with information, is urged to contact Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/80111/25.’
Local residents with private CCTV or drivers with dashcam, who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, are also asked to check for footage.
