Firefighters were called to Hobday Wood Lane in Waltham, Canterbury, early Tuesday afternoon, 21 April, following reports of a mobile home fully engulfed in flames.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service dispatched four fire engines to the scene at 12:52 PM, where crews immediately began an intensive operation to contain the fire.

Equipped with breathing apparatus, firefighters used a combination of main jets and high-pressure hose reel jets to battle the flames, while drag rakes were employed to clear debris and ensure the fire was completely suppressed.


The incident was brought to a close by 2:48 PM. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the emergency, though the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
