ASHFORD, Kent – Emergency services responded to a serious multi-vehicle collision on Maidstone Road in Hothfield during the early evening of Sunday, April 19, 2026.
The incident, which involved three vehicles, was first reported at 17:21. Kent Fire and Rescue Service dispatched two fire engines to the scene near Ashford, where crews worked to stabilize the site and gain access to those involved.
Firefighters used specialist equipment to release two people who had become trapped in the wreckage. Once freed, both were immediately handed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) paramedics for medical assessment and treatment.
Kent Police also attended the scene to manage traffic and assist with the recovery of the vehicles. The operation was completed and the scene was cleared by 17:57.
No further information regarding the severity of injuries has yet been made available by authorities.
