Kent Police has reported a body has been recovered in the search for a missing woman from Ashford.
Officers were called to woodland near to Etchden Road, Bethersden shortly after 9.30am today, Wednesday 25 March 2026. Police attended along with paramedics and a woman in her 50s was confirmed deceased.
While formal identification has not yet taken place but the family of a 57-year-old woman from the Stanhope area of Ashford reported missing on Sunday 22 March, has been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
