A renewed planning collaboration agreement has been signed to accelerate the delivery of Otterpool Park Garden Town. The agreement focuses on securing planning permissions and unlocking the infrastructure needed for 8,500 high-quality homes.

By partnering with Homes England—the government’s housing and regeneration agency—the council maintains access to specialized skills and the investment scale necessary for a project of this magnitude. Otterpool Park LLP (Limited Liability Partnership) will continue to lead day-to-day collaboration under the council’s direction.

Paula Hirst (Chair, Otterpool Park LLP) said she is delighted by the “reaffirmed commitment” to move plans toward delivery while Charlotte O’Mahony (Homes England) noted the agreement was an “important milestone” to unlock the site’s full potential and deliver community benefits at pace.
