MAIDSTONE – Kent Police arrested two teenagers and recovered two stolen vehicles following a pursuit through Maidstone on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. The incident began at approximately 12:40 pm when officers spotted a motorbike and a moped being driven erratically on Sutton Road in Langley.
After confirming both vehicles were stolen, a pursuit was initiated with support from the National Police Air Service. The chase ended in Mote Park, where the moped was retrieved. Two boys, aged 16 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of theft, dangerous driving, failing to stop, and driving without insurance; the 17-year-old was also held for cannabis possession.
The pair of suspects have since been released on bail. At 3 pm, officers located and recovered the outstanding motorbike in White Horse Lane, Otham.
