A week-long crackdown on County Lines drug networks in Kent (March 2–8, 2026) has resulted in 47 arrests and the seizure of over £100,000 in cash.
Officers searched 40 addresses, recovering 28 weapons, including crossbows and samurai swords, and significant quantities of heroin, crack cocaine, and meth. Of those arrested, 23 suspects have been charged with 63 offences.
Key Operations:
- Maidstone: Two men charged after police found cash, a pure gold bar, and a drugs press.
- Herne Bay: One man remanded following the discovery of Class A drugs and criminal property.
- Sittingbourne: Two men charged after a farm raid uncovered cocaine, weapons, and stolen caravans.
Detective Inspector Andy Leventis warned that these “predatory” networks exploit the vulnerable, stating:
“We will not hesitate to stop these networks… they are not welcome in Kent.”
