Community policing officers have recovered suspected cannabis edibles and a quantity of other illegal drugs following a response to reports of drug use and anti-social behaviour near Hever village.
A subsequent search of the premises resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of cannabis, suspected cannabis edibles, cash, a baton, and various items of drugs paraphernalia. An investigation into potential criminal activity at the property is currently underway.
Inspector Mike Alvey said:
‘Community policing is all about listening to the public’s concerns and taking action against anyone breaking the law.
‘In this case, officers have heard people’s worries about activity at this property and quickly taken action to make an arrest and remove drugs, potentially dangerous to children, from circulation.
‘We’ll continue to carry out work of this kind and I urge anyone concerned that drugs are being produced or dealt in their neighbourhoods to report it through our website.’
