A second suspect has been charged in connection with an aggravated burglary in Ramsgate.

Kent Police was called to a property in Boundary Road at 2.39am on Wednesday 9 April 2025. A man, found with injuries believed to be life-changing, was taken to a London hospital.

An investigation into the incident was launched which has resulted in two people charged and three more arrested.

A man aged 21, from Ramsgate, was charged on Tuesday 15 April with aggravated burglary with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. He appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court the following day and was remanded in custody. 

Officers had already charged a 27-year-old man in connection with the incident. The case will next be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on 12 May.

Two women aged 33 and 49, and a 29-year-old man, all from Ramsgate, have been arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries.
