A man from Dartford has been charged following investigations into two reported burglaries in north Kent.

Kent Police were notified of a break-in at an address in Kestrel Close, Sittingbourne on Tuesday 28 January 2025 in which a window was damaged and a large amount of cash reportedly taken.

On Friday 7 February, a report was received that a property had been targeted in Northfleet Green Road, Gravesend. A bicycle, garden tools and a handbag were amongst the items allegedly stolen. Following further enquiries, a man was arrested on Wednesday 2 April.

The following day, a man aged 20, and from Dartford, was charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft. He was remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 3 April.
