A sunny Saturday afternoon turned into a successful rescue mission for the Whitstable RNLI!

Responding to a call from Dover Coastguard, the intrepid crew of the Relief B-Class Martin Frederick Whitehouse swiftly launched to assist a 40-foot motor cruiser experiencing engine trouble near the Kentish Flats Wind Farm.

With calm seas and clear skies, the lifeboat team reached the anchored vessel, boarded, and expertly towed the cruiser and its lone sailor back to Whitstable Harbour.

The Whitstable shore crew were on hand to ensure a smooth and safe mooring at the South Quay, making this a textbook rescue, showcasing the RNLI’s dedication and skill!
