An 18-year-old man has been charged following an investigation into a series of vehicle thefts in the Ashford area. Kent Police investigated reports of six stolen vehicles, including a digger, between January 1st and January 25th, 2025. The thefts occurred at various locations throughout the Ashford district.
The man from Maidstone, was arrested on February 5th and subsequently charged with vehicle theft. He also faces charges related to a burglary reported in Ashford on January 14th, where cash, jewellery, and a designer watch were allegedly stolen.
He appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on February 6th and was remanded into custody. His case is scheduled to be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on March 10th.
