In a dramatic crackdown on organized crime, seven suspected members of a major drug dealing network have been arrested following a series of coordinated raids across East Kent.

Kent Police stormed seven properties in Dover, Deal, Thanet, and Aylesham in the early hours of Wednesday, February 5, 2025, sending a clear message that drug dealers are not welcome in the county. The coordinated operation, part of the force’s ongoing war on organized crime, saw officers, aided by specialist sniffer dogs, seize a significant quantity of suspected heroin, crack cocaine, and ecstasy. The raids also uncovered a stash of knives and cash, further highlighting the scale of the criminal enterprise.

Six men and one woman, aged between 21 and 63, were hauled into custody on suspicion of a range of offences. They remain in police cells as detectives continue their investigation, promising to leave no stone unturned.

Detective Inspector Eleanor Miller said:

‘Organised crime networks not only profit from the misery of drug users, but their activities are often behind antisocial behaviour and other crimes we see in our towns and communities.

‘For this reason, Kent Police will continue to seek out, arrest and bring to justice those who are involved in this activity.

‘Anyone dealing drugs in the county should know that our officers could be at their front door tomorrow.’
