Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Brompton High Street, Medway, on Friday, December 20, 2024, at approximately 7:00 am.

A man in his 30s, walking two dogs, was allegedly verbally abused and assaulted by two men in a white Mercedes Sprinter van. The victim received treatment at a local hospital for a fractured arm and a facial cut.

Police have interviewed a suspect under caution and reviewed CCTV footage. They are now specifically appealing for a female witness with a brown and white dog who reportedly attempted to intervene in the altercation.

PC Jessica Edwards stated,

“Our investigation is progressing, and we have interviewed a suspect. We are now urging anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly the woman with the brown and white dog, to come forward. Their information could be crucial to our investigation.”
