Kent Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy from the Romney Marsh area in connection with a reported rape investigation in Ashford.
The alleged incident occurred on Friday, January 24, 2025, between 8.25pm and 9pm on a river pathway near Beaver Road. Officers have been conducting inquiries in the area, including reviewing CCTV footage and speaking with potential witnesses. The arrest was made on the evening of Monday, January 27, 2025, as part of the ongoing investigation. The suspect remains in custody.
