Between November 28th and December 4th, 2024, staff at an Aldi store in Northfleet reported four separate incidents where multiple bottles of spirits and prosecco were stolen. Following an investigation, including the review of CCTV footage, a suspect was apprehended on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, in Thames Way.
In a separate case, a man was detained in Queen Street on suspicion of stealing electric toothbrushes valued at £140 from a pharmacy in Leander Drive. The thefts occurred on October 30th and November 21st, 2024.
Both suspects were arrested on Tuesday, January 7th, and subsequently charged with multiple counts of theft. They were remanded in custody and appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 8th.
